That depends on the license you hold. Contractor, electrical, and plumbing licenses have different hour and credit-type requirements. Use the guide above as a starting point and confirm your individual requirements with Utah DOPL.

Utah DOPL provides an approved-course and CE-record search. Visit the continuing-education page for your profession and follow the link to view recorded hours.

Not necessarily. Always review the profession, approved credit type, and number of hours shown in the course description before registering.

Yes. Utah DOPL states that contractors need six approved CE hours and that three hours must be taught live. A live webinar counts as live instruction, so all six hours may be completed through approved, instructor-led Zoom classes. Self-paced online courses are different and do not count as live instruction.
