25-Hour Pre-License Course

Course Overview

This course will teach you everything you will need to know to open and maintain a successful contractor business in the state of Utah. We will cover all prerequisites as set forth by the Department of Professional Licensing (DOPL) as well as show you vital information you will need to run your business. Your instructors are all subject matter experts in their fields. For those who would like to take the exam for a general contractor license, we will cover everything that may be on the test as well as provide you with a copy of the book that the test is based on. The state of Utah test will be an open book test. A few of the subjects that are covered in this class are listed below. Why Learn from the ABC

Our classes are offered once a month, in three different locations. ABC classes are during the daytime hours, beginning at 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, each day.

All general contractors (E100, R100, B100), including master plumbing and master electrical contractors require a 30-hour pre-licensure course (unless you took the Business & Law test before attending, in which case you do not need the extra 5 hours).
