Thank you Louie and ABC!

Louie Tafoya is an outstanding instructor. He has real passion for doing things correctly and above board, and he does a great job breaking down contracts, compliance, finances, leadership, and operations in a way that actually makes sense for contractors.
The guest speakers were another big plus. They come from all facets of the industry — legal, financial, insurance, safety, and operations — and provide valuable insight while helping you build the contacts and relationships you’ll need as your company grows.
If you’re serious about building a solid, professional contracting business and avoiding costly mistakes, this course delivers. Highly recommend.

Louie and his team are great. The course is very informative and insightful. The outside presenters are top of their fields. I would recommend this class for anyone wanting to get real world knowledge on every aspect of Utah Business Law while acquiring the required 25/30 hours needed for contractors licensing.
Thank you Louie, Sharece and the entire team.

How our class works
This class is held in person at four convenient locations. Classes run from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. If you’re pursuing a General Contractor’s license, you’ll also attend a half-day on Thursday from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
There are 2 license categories in Utah: Primary (General Contractor) and Specialty (Sub-Contractor)
Pursuing a General Contractor’s license allows you to perform all specialties except plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. This license requires 2 years previous experience and you must pass the Business and Law test. For those aiming for a Specialty (Subcontractor) license, the class is just three days. No test or prior experience needed.
In a classroom setting, our instructors will present from Sandy and North Salt Lake locations. Depending on which location you choose, some of your material will be taught via a zoom presentation.
