Frequently asked questions.

Still have questions? Call us at 801.294.5211.

Yes. Utah contractor applicants must complete an approved 25-hour pre-license course. This class is designed to satisfy that education requirement.

A Primary (General Contractor) license covers broad project oversight and requires qualifying experience plus the Business & Law exam. A Specialty license is limited to a specific trade and does not require the exam or prior experience.

Bring a photo ID, something to take notes with, and your questions. Course materials are provided.

You will attend in person. Depending on the location selected, some instruction may be presented live by video from our Sandy or North Salt Lake classroom.
