Government Affairs

The Government Affairs Committee is your voice in the state, working hard to strengthen ABC’s influence and protect the values that matter most to our members—like the merit shop philosophy and the principles of free enterprise.

We focus our efforts on three key areas:

Legislative Affairs – Keeping an eye on legislation that impacts our industry and advocating for policies that support our members.

PAC (Political Action Committee) – Mobilizing resources to back candidates and initiatives that align with our values.

Grassroots Committee – Engaging our members directly in the political process to ensure our collective voice is heard.

Safety

The Construction Safety Committee is dedicated to creating a culture where safety always comes first. Our goal is to provide resources, support, and training that help companies build stronger safety programs, reduce job site hazards, and ensure every worker goes home safely at the end of the day. Through collaboration, education, and shared best practices, we strive to set the standard for safety excellence in the construction industry. Together, we’re not just following regulations—we’re building a safer future for everyone in the field.

Women In Construction

The Women in Construction Committee is all about supporting and empowering each other in an industry where women are making big moves. We’re here to build connections, share experiences, and lift each other up—whether you’re just starting out or a seasoned pro. Through mentorship, education, and advocacy, we’re breaking barriers, creating opportunities, and inspiring the next generation of women in construction.
